“There are things to do everyday: wash, study, play, set the table at noon. There are things to do at night: close your eyes, sleep, have dreams to dream, ears not to hear. There are things to never do, during the day or at night, not by land or by sea: for example the war”.
After analyzing several poems centered on European identity, the students selected this text by Gianni Rodari for its contemporary message and powerful visual potential. By blending stop-motion animation with the poem’s vivid imagery, the students brought the ideal of peace to life. The project’s authentic creative process allowed the group to deeply connect with Europe’s core values, turning a school assignment into a meaningful personal expression: our students had the opportunity to learn about Europe’s principles and make them their own through art.
Before creating the final short film, students explored movement, timing and visual storytelling through small stop motion exercises and collaborative experiments.
Independent short films created autonomously by students as an extension of the educational journey.
